 It
is an Aminoglycoside Antibiotic of second generation;
antimicrobial spectrum is similar to the Gentamicin,
activity against pseudomonas aeruginosa, 28times as
that of Gentamicin. It is also active against some gramnegative
bacterial which are resistant to aminoglycoside antibiotics.With
low toxicity to ear and kidney,it is much effective
in the treatment of meningitis,infections due to burn
and scald,serious infection of soft tissue,septicemia,infections
of respiratory tract,urethra,biliary tract and septicemia
of newborn baby caused by Escherichia Coli and Klensiella
pneumoniae.
Action: cause pathogenic bacterial to produce wrong
code.
